About The Company Coach
The Company Coach was founded by Matthew Gamblin CA, CPP to give CEOs, founders and leadership teams access to senior commercial, finance and strategic capability without the traditional consulting model.
Matt is a Chartered Accountant and holder of a Certificate of Public Practice, with more than 15 years' experience helping businesses navigate growth, transformation, funding, operational complexity and strategic change.
His career spans CFO and senior finance leadership roles across founder-led businesses, high-growth companies and major international organisations, including Fliteboard, the Garvan Institute, ASOS, Red Bull and Diageo.

Matt has worked alongside founders, CEOs, Boards and executive teams through some of the most important stages of the business lifecycle — from growth and capital raising through to turnaround, international expansion and strategic exit.
His experience includes:

Helping scale an Australian technology business from approximately $20m to $65m+ in revenue, culminating in an approximately $89m strategic sale

Having spent much of his career at the intersection of finance, strategy, operations and technology, Matt has increasingly focused on how AI will reshape finance functions and the way organisations operate.
Rather than approaching AI as a technology project, The Company Coach starts with the business — understanding the people, processes, workflows, systems and commercial objectives before determining where AI and automation can create meaningful value.
